Hello friends. I almost have all our staff back to work and I appreciate everyone’s patience with all the rescheduling we had to do. Considering the extremely high rates of COVID in Colorado and our little microcosm study demonstrating high breakthrough rates on vaccinated people, I am keeping the clinic on curbside services for now.
I understand this is disappointing and inconvenient and I apologize for this. As we saw last week, we can be forced to close if we get infection in the staff. Even more concerning, some of the species we work with can catch COVID and even die from it. Patient safety, staff safety, and being able to stay open so we can provide medical care are all important aspects of this policy. I will continue to keep this blog updated.
